Welcome!

Hi, I’m Michaela — a clinical social worker and therapist who believes deeply in the power of compassionate connection and meaningful change. I earned my MSW in 2015 from the University of Missouri–Columbia after serving in the Peace Corps. Since then, I’ve worked in non-profits supporting adults navigating life transitions, from a cancer diagnosis to the challenges of balancing work and family.

I help clients build confidence and resilience by creating a warm, supportive space where they can explore their experiences, process difficult emotions, and grow toward greater self-understanding. My professional training and lived experience have deepened my appreciation for how complex, tender, and courageous the healing process can be. I approach therapy with curiosity, respect, and gentleness, meeting each client exactly where they are.

I take an integrative, trauma-informed approach, blending evidence-based therapy with life coaching–informed techniques. I specialize in helping individuals 18+ experiencing anxiety, depression, grief, and major life transitions. I have particular experience supporting stress and burnout, caregiver fatigue, anticipatory grief, and women navigating midlife transitions. Together, we focus on building clarity, emotional insight, and practical tools for meaningful change.

Outside of work, I’m a mom, a lifelong learner, and someone who values reflection, movement, and time in nature. I believe in slowing down, noticing the small moments, and creating space for growth.

It would be an honor to walk alongside you in your healing journey.
